Rep. Kelly has always prioritized and fought for paid leave, equal pay and protecting women’s reproductive choices. In her first term she sponsored legislation to create a Gender Pay Disparity Task Force and exempt feminine hygiene products from sales tax.
Making college more affordable and protecting our students from predatory lending is critical to having an educated workforce in Ohio. As one step to create a stronger workforce, Rep. Kelly sponsored a bill to license student loan servicers to provide greater consumer protection for students borrowing for college.
